Well then it's much simpler ... conceptually. Because you must have a fairly "tough guy" lifting device, because a 5 m3 concrete tank, it must weigh a few sacred tons : Shock:

You can provide drainage if you want to bottom with a hedgehog of stones.

Yes absolutely, I thought about it for a moment but this tank comes with the self-cleaning filter, so I decided to save myself from the job. the tank weighs in 2.5t

you need a sand bed to stabilize the tanks,
the cheapest are septic tanks, there are 6000 liters ;-)

Bonjour,

I'm going to make a hole to put it in and fill this hole with stones, you see.

HELP !!
do not fill with rubble !!! , this is the worst mistake to make !!
someone explained to me that his neighbor had made the same error, and they noticed one fine morning the tank lying on the ground ... !!!
obviously !!! this is the best way to cause a "bathtub effect" ...

it is necessary to backfill with the earth removed from the hole, and allow the backfill to settle with the first heavy rains before covering completely ...

and for leveling sand, 5 to 10 cm are sufficient, taking care to dig "as closely as possible" so as not to have to add backfill to reach the correct level .. !!

> put on hard ground !! , with sand bed to finish leveling ...

Hi pierrot, what do you mean, the tank lying on the ground? did it lift and lie down or break?
The bathtub effect, you mean that the water around it made it move?
Ok no matter how I make a small hole.

Bonjour,

What do you mean, the tank lying on the ground? she rose and lay down

well yes, obviously .. !!
by backfilling with pebbles and flooding the hole ..., the (empty) tank became a "cork stopper" and was ejected from the hole by the pressure of the water .. !!!

Hi, we tried again on Monday. We were able to move it but we realized that it was cracked down in the middle.

There was water in it, fortunately, the crack, wet, was seen immediately. Obviously we didn't put it in place. I phoned in stride, they said they were going to exchange it.

To be continued... :|

it is necessary :
1 dig as accurately as possible (you must have the dimensions of your tank)
2 sand lites at the bottom
3: if you really have the balls: in Brittany there is a lot of granite in the ground: often on the sides (between the tank and the earth) we add cement, it is caught in the granite and blocks the tank
;)
