Reviews of the best peated whiskeys: Bruichladdich, Ardbeg, Bunnahabhain ...

Having discovered by chance the peated whiskeys and having visited the distilleries on the wonderful island of Islay I give you my top 5.
1: Ardbeg Uigeadeal: A very complex aromatic bomb, very peaty, very persistent, "very too much" will some say.
2: Bunnahabhain Mòine: More delicate, very aromatic, peaty, with finesse and subtlety
3: Kilchoman Sanaig: Round, well peaty, iodized, balanced, fruity, long in the mouth, pleasant and easy to drink.
4: Bruichladdich Port Charlotte: Smoky, peaty, smooth, round, rich.
5: Nikka pure malt White: Peaty, smoky, iodized, intense. Japan in its excellence.
In moderation, of course. No ice cubes just two or three drops of water (not bleached) to bring out the aromas even more!

I don't like whiskey, too strong for me, whatever its supposed aromas, I just feel like I'm drinking methylated spirits.

The only one (I think) that I have tasted from Islay Island is the Lagavulin ... although the Bruichladdich tells me something ... probably a late evening !! : Cheesy:

Why isn't he on your list? : Cheesy:

What's interesting is that they still use barrels ... from the days of the American Revolutionary War you know Lafayette and all!

If it's not econology before it's time! Sustainable recycling par excellence !! Not like the political pipes of the current Greens!

Well, because the 16 year old Lagavulin (marketing) that we find everywhere is not bad, it is "easy to drink", but it is not worth the 12 year old Lagavulin which is much more expensive, not found in supermarkets and that I only tasted at the distillery!

all the same does not prevent us from comparing poisons which kill 45.000 per year with each other, 'much more than vaccines and glyphosate and all the other drugs put together (here I am defending these shits, it is the world to 'upside down!) this is not innocent!
