Here I installed the crucial MX500 this morning, the operation went well but was a little more complicated than expected since I had to remove the battery (the central black block) which prevented the dismantling of the SATA1 ...

This ASUS N750 from the end of 2014 has left for 5 years (at least) of good and loyal service (the battery is still almost at the top!
And to think that in 2010 my previous Toshiba only lasted 2 years ....
And to think that my very first laptop of 1 had lasted ... only 2002 months ...
Must say that the ASUS was well designed (full metal finish, like at Apple, double heatpipe, 2 SATA slot ... and another 1 DVD player!): Asus is the top of the laptop and it's funny because j 've noticed that in certain professional categories ...
if you don't see Apple ... you see Asus! Except that the Asus is at least twice as good in terms of quality / price (Obamot!)!

The MX500 is given for 560 MB / s max:

I'm up to speed on both the SSD and the SATA 600!
In short, we could not have done better with this machine from 2014!
