No idea, you tell him a disk to clone, he copies it, you plug it in instead of the old one, and it boots.

Not in 6 times, I did it for 6 different SSDs in 1 time each time.

Surrealist. Yes, I have done this every time I bought and installed a new SSD. So 6 times in recent years. For me and some friends.

I preferred to install the OS. If it's Windows 10, it will automatically adapt its parameters in relation to the SSD, then all its favorite software and the saved data. It does a lot of cleaning and it puts everything back to new.

All that remains is to update the drivers, downloaded from the manufacturer's site. With lenovo, this was done almost automatically by detecting the product.
Install the printer.
After, do all the windows updates and it's gone again as in 40 : Lol:
Suddenly, I found apps that I didn't have before.

Here I installed the crucial MX500 this morning, the operation went well but was a little more complicated than expected since I had to remove the battery (the central black block) which prevented the dismantling of the SATA1 ...

This ASUS N750 from the end of 2014 has left for 5 years (at least) of good and loyal service (the battery is still almost at the top!

And to think that in 2010 my previous Toshiba only lasted 2 years ....
And to think that my very first laptop of 1 had lasted ... only 2002 months ...

: Shock: : Shock: : Shock:

Must say that the ASUS was well designed (full metal finish, like at Apple, double heatpipe, 2 SATA slot ... and another 1 DVD player!): Asus is the top of the laptop and it's funny because j 've noticed that in certain professional categories ...if you don't see Apple ... you see Asus! Except that the Asus is at least twice as good in terms of quality / price (Obamot!)! : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen:

And so in terms of performance I have this:

I'm up to speed on both the SSD and the SATA 600!

In short, we could not have done better with this machine from 2014!
