tax the taxis

by chatelot16 » 10/01/13, 20:33

Hello

the taxis are still angry

there is news for medical transport to call for tenders open to other transporter than taxis, which will necessarily be cheaper since less taxis than taxis ... therefore complete disappearance of small taxis including medical transport is the main activity

but taxis get the wrong target by accusing other carriers of unfair competition ... they should rather take the opportunity to demand to be taxed on an equal basis with all other transport ... so not only to remain competitive for medical transport, but in addition to becoming 2 times cheaper for all their activity ... therefore to resume their normal place of complementing public transport

taxis do not understand anything ... by making traffic jams to complain of unfair competition from those who are less expensive, they seem to be defending a privilege

their fight would be much better accepted if it were to demand to be treated on an equal basis with other transport ... so to be able to divide by 2 or 3 their price so to become useful to everyone again

all public transport is more or less subsidized: taxis must also be equally

Charlot 16 you're right, but some taxis are attached to their privileges.
They are doubly fooled because often it is the big bosses of taxi fleets who benefit from it and not the taxi drivers.
