In my region of origin (center of the asshole of France) manufacturers (assemblers) of bicycles weaned until the 60th. They assembled their bikes and adapted a small motor with a reducer and a transmission by roller on the tire back we found in all the farms ...

I was very surprised to find this assembly still marketed on the net a few years ago

I invite younger people, like me, to do this mountain bike route on pedals, without motor, without any car on 35Km, between Lavandou and close to St Tropez, back and forth, empty of any traffic jam, with no one, in the heat of August, as I do, to compensate for the inevitable sciatica in front of my PC, at an age 2,333 times closer to centenarians than newborns !!

https://www.econologie.com/forums/post233473.html#233473

Go without a car without pollution for 40km, then swim in front of the most beautiful villas of St Tropez and similar return, modifiable by Ramatuelle or Pampelonne !!

1600m vertical drop just to go

If it's too easy, you have to come back by the coastal path by bike on a lot of stairs !!!!

And very good for health !!!

For me, the goal of an assisted bike is not to ride (except possibly between people of very different levels) ... by the way your route looks sublime, too bad it is so far !

But to go to work or go shopping, there are days when you don't want to sweat, or it is a little humid and the gore-tex becomes a sauna. So assistance is rather for a utilitarian purpose.

It is a certainty that
by the way your route looks sublime

especially in full vacation, within 8km, 60km of traffic jams of blocked cars and crowded black beaches.

The coastal path of more than 25km is also sublime, even more sporty, if done while running.
