Small boats on the water: marine pollution?

Transport and new transport: energy, pollution, engine innovations, concept car, hybrid vehicles, prototypes, pollution control, emission standards, tax. not individual transport modes: transport, organization, carsharing or carpooling. Transport without or with less oil.

There too they could adapt the G-Pantone at least to depolluer,

Quote A:

"The heavier the fuel, the more water is injected, the combination of vegetable oil and water doping is very interesting in this sense."

Chui not sure that the Gillier Pantone is very effective on sulfur to fix it in something non-polluting ..... :frown: Is there a chemist in the dirty? : Mrgreen:

Water + sulfur with high t ° = sulfuric acid and hydrogen sulphide ...
The doping with the water only has effect on the emission of particles ...

Hello,

If the G-Pantone does not work, in Pantone only with an enormous bubbler would move the problem of pollution.

Of course it works on particles and Nox (without removing the sulfur recess), read Embedded fuel emulsification system for large displacement diesel engines ...

The volcanoes release plenty of sulfur too, and it cools the planet to the point that some scientists have proposed this method to cool the global warming by the CO2 !!!!

I just read an andré message about a 100% Pantone generator, https://www.econologie.com/forums/groupe-electrogene-100-pantone-t2965.html

It would therefore seem difficult to operate a 100% Pantone engine with a very heavy fuel! :|

Floating of Lorient's new electric transporter

18 Sept 2012 meretmarine.com

Image

The new passenger catamaran ordered by the Lorient conurbation community at the STX France yards was launched yesterday in Lanester. Its Breton name, Ar Vag Tredan, must refer to the fact that its peculiarity is to be a fully electric boat. It is in fact equipped with an energy storage system composed of aluminum supercapacitor, An innovative solution, patented by STX France, which allows the ship to store its own energy in quantities strictly necessary for its rotation, and can recharge its capacitors during a stopover. This new-generation propulsion system has the advantage of removing CO2, SOx and NOx emissions.

Long of 22.1 meters for a width of 7.2 meters, Ar Vag Tredan, which will provide shuttles in the harbor of Lorient, presents a draft of 1.5 meters. Equipped with two azimuth thrusters, this catamaran, capable of reaching the speed of 10 knots, will accommodate 113 people, including 3 with reduced mobility, as well as 10 bicycles. This ship was designed by STX France in cooperation with Stirling Design International (SDI), naval architect and project designer.

But are there only supercapacitors, or batteries? Image

Lorient. The electric transrade set afloat at Lanester

18 Sept 20122 West France

Commissioned by Lorient Agglomération at the STX shipyard, the "Ar Vag Tredan" trans-ship (electric boat) must, after a period of tests, come into service at the end of October.

120 passengers

Carved like a catamaran, Ar Vag Tredan (electric boat in Breton) was launched on Monday afternoon at the shipyard STX Rohu in Lanester (Morbihan). It complements the fleet of Lorient Agglomération which already has four passenger ships connecting Lorient, Locmiquélic, Port-Louis and Gâvres and which annually counts 800 000 passengers. It will have 120 seated seats and will be able to transport in the roadstead a dozen bicycles.

Zero Carbon Emissions

This vessel 22 meters long uses capacitors "Super capacity" to store electrical energy. They allow a very fast recharge, of the order of four minutes. The boat will sail at a maximum speed of ten knots. Solar panels cover the deck above the living room. Quieter, fully recyclable, it is a boat with zero carbon emissions. This is the first ship of its kind. Saving weight and cost. It has been designed for frequent and short runs.

The sulfur burns SO2 in the smoke which ends in sulfuric acid strongly soluble in water

As already said in a previous answer the volcano does not manage to send astronomical quantity: it is not an ecological problem for the planet

Sulfur is an environmental problem when burned in cities on days when there is no wind: it is very good to have no more in the fuel oil and diesel

for the boat the sea is big and the boats are far ... I think there is more serious problem to solve before this one
