13 years old ... my God ... and there are even older projects ... what could we have saved in GHGs if the FDP were not in power and we were in a society not of profit at any cost but of ecological virtuosity (virtuosity that also works!)

The summary is done, this is the intro to which you have access.
https://www.lemonde.fr/planete/article/ ... _3244.html

"After producing in the first year just over 50% of the 790 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per day expected, for a total of 149 kWh over the year, the equipment generated 459 kWh in 78 and 397 kWh"
Elsewhere:
"How to explain this failure? The newspaper reports a" premature wear of the slabs due to the traffic and their fouling due to the leaves of trees come to rot there. "The solar panels are detached from the roadway and numerous fragments enamel the resin protecting the photovoltaic cells. In addition, the speed of circulation has been lowered to 70 km / h because driving on this type of pavement is very noisy and disturbs the residents, underlines the report of the World.
The director general of the services of the departmental council of Orne, also confides to the daily: "The revenue from the sale of electricity produced by the road should bring us 10 euros per year. In 500, we received 2017 euros . In 4, 550 euros, and for the first quarter of 2018, we are at 3 euros. "

The deterioration of the condition of the road, its soiling by leaves and plant waste, the noise of a coating not made for the car, all this was perfectly predictable. How can one be so stupid, even without any scientific background, it is perfectly foreseeable. Call yourself "Royale"?

The instigators of this project are either mobsters or imbeciles. Nice skewer, I have the names:

So forum, we said it from the start in 2016 and not when the scam was OFFICIAL ... 3 years later!

solar-photovoltaic / solar-road-to-segolene-death-of-laugh-t14623.html

3 years in advance is not nothing so the decision makers who sign the checks with public money would do better to read the advice more often free members of this forum rather than following the paid recommendations analysis and design offices with long teeth!

: Evil: : Evil: : Evil:

Are there no criminal prosecutions when you waste millions of euros of public money? When you steal a bike there is !!

It's not just about this forum, the whole world was laughing at us with this solar road ...
But it is clear that a legal action should be taken so that the elected officials who made this decision reimburse the sums of public money that were spent on this bogus project.

So what ? :)

The route was from the H2 station of Orly then direction the Loire Valley with Orléans, Blois, Chambord, etc ... then back to Paris.

There were 4 drivers and the total driving time was 21 hours which gives an average speed close to 50 km / h. (1003 km / 21h).

The information comes from France Bleu.

The record has since been largely broken. :)
