The design is unsuccessful, we detect a large loss of lost catchment area.
(the area above the wheels, the unnecessary side white stripes at the rear ...)
At the “SOLAR Club CERN” a guy had electrified a 2CV (in fact he has several ...) they are even homologated.

Re: The car of the future
Rooooh the villain !!
The design is mainly aerodynamic, largely aeronautical in fact ...
Now they could have added a flat surface to the rear like solar cars from the 2000s (racing in Australia) but that would have made the look even stranger ...
Obviously it is not Mr Toulemonde who will crack on it ... Mr Toulemonde prefers big shit SUVs ...

Re: The car of the future
Aero level we can still do better than the deuch eh !! But it is (was already) better than many current SUVs!
Even Clubic talks about the Aptera ... but not very well ... ditto for the comments ... which do not fly very high!

Forhorse wrote:Even with a parity of 1 and even with a bonus of 10.000 € (but I believe that in reality it is 7000 as for the BEVs), it remains a car at 55.000 € which has neither the brand nor the performance. , nor the services of a "top of the range" car at an equivalent price. (and even less of a plug-in hybrid which is also entitled to its bonus)
The Hype taxi company has abandoned the electric car and the prestigious Germanic Diesel. She chose the Toyota Mirai. 600 taxis in Paris soon.
No need to stop the car for hours to recharge, 5 minutes is enough. It can run 23h55 out of 24:

Mark ? benefits? performance? that of American or German products, I imagine?
TESLA is an assembly of 70% "Made in China" products. Plus FUKUTA "Made in Taiwan" engines. And if the batteries are "Made in USA", they are from Japanese Matsushita Denki (Panasonic internationally). But we are talking about the "American" batteries of "the American" TESLA.
Ditto for Germanic cars, they rely heavily on non-German OEMs, especially Japanese OEMs.

Re: The car of the future
Leo, I didn't know there was a hydrogen distribution network in Paris?
Disagree with the main argument mentioned which is the reduction of CO2!
The main drawback of taxis in town (and of all urban thermal cars) are NOx and unburnt substances (CO, HC ...) which cause public health problems and increase mortality ...
The city is the worst place for a heat engine: very short driving cycles, many stops with the engine running, risk of overheating in summer, average consumption certainly at more than 12 L / 100 ...
Thermal mechanics suffer greatly in the city ... just like the quality of the air ...
All taxis should have been electric for a long time ... because they do not have these disadvantages!

Air Liquide H2 stations in France: https://www.h2-mobile.fr/stations-hydro ... r-liquide/
For now, they are reserved for professionals. There are currently 5 in Paris.
Each PAC H2 vehicle can replace a thermal vehicle which pollutes, releases CO2 and consumes hydrogen due to desulphurization in refineries. The CO2 balance is positive because we have eliminated a thermal vehicle.
While waiting for 100% green hydrogen, we use the one used for desulfurization.

Yes Macro mamita must have been happy with this race!
Now I think that the average race in the Paris region must be within 20 km to 30 km ...
