Good evening everyone,
In these times of expensive petroleum, I would have liked to benefit from your knowledge on the market of the current electric or plug-in hybrid car.
In the 90s, the 106 electric or AX from PSA were abandoned for lack of commercial success.
Excellent initiatives like the Kangoo elect'road or elect'ric have been completely stopped when they are now sold like hotcakes.
Renault does not plan to market hybrid before 2011, and still wishes to reserve these vehicles for commercial fleets.
The Kangoo cleanova, a kind of heir to the concept, is not for sale and jealously reserved for the captive fleets of the Post and EDF.
Fiat Fiorino will soon be available for sale to individuals ...
Finally it is a bit of a desert, paradoxically ...
If you have tips, or want to discuss about it, don't hesitate
Where are rechargeable hybrids or 100% electric?

I’ve suspected it for a while, but you’re against the market economy
you realize the money lost by the dealers in various obligatory revisions not to lose its guarantee ???? and oil changes ????
seriously abandoning the explosion engine is also disrupting an immobile commercial sector for some fifty years ... at least ...

I do not advocate abandoning the internal combustion engine, but its rational use.
For those who love literature, see on:

On the plug-in hybrid, it should not be imagined that everything is free, although maintenance is somewhat reduced.

Well there is Newteon which transforms FIATs into fairly efficient EVs ...
Otherwise, there is the second-hand EV market, the first European player of which is the ACCUS SERVICE company in Pessac near Bordeaux.
Delivery times are a bit long because demand is high but they still have 3 or 400 vehicles in stock ...
I drool with envy, when I pass in front of their site where they are stored ...

When I saw the scooter, I was scared
Tell me Citro, do you know if these vehicles kept lead-acid batteries or did they re-equip them with Lithium Ion?

Yes, it's called the series hybrid. The SNCF diesel powerplants do it too, but bigger
