FlightRadar 24: the real-time radar map of air traffic

by Christophe » 10/07/11, 20:06

Everything is in the title, map based on radar info in near real time!

https://www.flightradar24.com/

Example on a Sunday at 20 p.m .: : Shock: : Cheesy:

Image

Obviously, this only applies to commercial aircraft that have a transponder (details of the information and identification is available for each aircraft!). It is possible to put filters and there is the trace of the traveled path!

call sign
Altitude
Speed
Radar
aircraft type

Example: put callsign AF if you only want to see Air France planes in flight ...

Really interesting for those who are more or less interested in aviation (and I know there are quite a few here).

ps: I assume that the site http://www.flightradar24.com/ does not have access to all speed cameras in the USA because the interior of the country remains completely empty ...

Hi Christopher,

It’s soon worse than below, :D
all proportion kept, because the size of the planes is disproportionate compared to the map, at first glance it leaves you dreaming :D

If we put them in proportion we would not see them it would be the opposite effect "'there is no one up there" :D

It is very impressive.
This proves the technical quality of aviation.

Why an exercise? Yes it is most certainly a cartography ... of Belgium ...

Google Map has better watch out! : Mrgreen:

What is funny is that the plane had taken off from France (but I do not know where exactly ...)

Too bad the identification was not available ...
