A real green revolution is in the making in the USA.
Do you think the USA has the potential to become a model in terms of sustainable development?

Pouted ... I already see megachamps of PV panels profitable only by taxes ... I doubt that it changes much ...
How much is the average kWh in the USA? André, in quebec, pays 2 or 3 euro cents per kWh I think.
Finally, it will boost R&D, is it already ... microalgae for example?

Yes, Quebec is already very strong in renewable energy with hydroelectricity, hence a cheap kWh.

It doesn't answer my question ... and it's funny to make the amalgam: renewable = cheap ... because it's generally the opposite!
I believe, in 2002, to have seen an advertisement "electricity from coal" which sold coal at 3 or 4 cents of $ per KWh electric ... but as it is super federalized I do not think that it is the average in the USA ...

Do not dream too much either Obama does not claim to be green.
If he thinks of getting the US out of the crisis by making GMOs, well he's not going to deprive himself of them
Ecology is only an accessory that values it and he sees it as a way to revive the US machine that crushes others.
This is the case with us, you just have to look at the advertising campaigns. Now everyone claims environmental protection. Even the tankers who will soon be shamefully exploiting the North Pole

Yep, who isn't "green" on paper these days?
The environment, everyone is in favor of the speeches ... and this at all levels ...
In deeds ... it's another matter.
It's called Greenwashing I think
