Pantone: technical control and feedback?

by satpavan » 21/05/07, 14:21

sorry to ask again, is not technical (I want to start me), but is there a problem to pass the technical inspection after installation?
Is there a model of 4L, which has been running for a long time without problems with a Pantone?
And model 4L trophy 2004, what was the performance before and after installation (conso, pollution ...), if anyone knows?

Thanks in advance,

I just go with my R19 Diesel equipped, type simply asked if it was always that diesel car consumes. I told him it was diesel + water vapor.

To be sure he just defeated the big hose that brings air to the intake resonator (not to me) to see what I'd done it.

He did not rejoice in comment after.
No problem giving places to visit against. I had my label, without bargaining or anything.

Trust

Econologiquement yours.

Hello
I spent my Diesel Golf with a Pantone installed on the exhaust but it was not working properly.
I got a satisfactory opacity test but nothing more.
I made absolutely no reference to my system before the visit and the inspector made no mention when returning my vehicle. I obtained the sticker and besides I published my MOT on my post "Golf 1,9D doped with water"
You will have no problem to pass control with a pantone the moment there are no leaks in the exhaust pipe and the time that you have a right fuel.

The controller very certainnement vera can of water pipes and the exhaust pipe modified, but simply noted a deterioration in the exhaust to the front of the piping is not subjected to without against visit.
I will soon spend my R5 gasoline visit with a Pantone, I'll let you know as soon as it's done.

or find help to install a pantone ???

by goueg » 14/08/07, 15:38

Hello everyone !!!

There you have it: I've been interested in the pantone system for a while ... But unfortunately I'm not a top DIY! I also saw that this "technology" was marketed by the COPRA in the puy de dôme ... I tried to contact them but ... impossible to get them on the phone ... so my question is or is with the whose help is it possible to install on my 106 diesel ... I am in Grenoble and I have no connection in this domain ...

Thank you in advance for your answers...

Anyway in the articles I've read, they spoke well of them as manufacturing and commercialization of the system ..

Hello,

To come back to this subject, I spent a few days ago my diesel AX on the CT.

The controller was aware of my experiments, alas, as I have a home water leak still unknown, she could not turn that one diesel.

Vehicle accepted (despite yet olé olé facility), acceptable opacity limit (injector problem it seems) but no remarks about the engine ...

COCONUT Sainte Florine d'Auvergne regional newspaper (19 / 20) tonight WEDNESDAY October 31 2007:

position yourself at 6'15 "==>
http://jt.france3.fr/regions/popup.php? ... l_auvergne

it works only for diesel engines and it's not pantone, but it looks like strangely, inventor Auvergnat had gone before him .....

They announce 30% fuel economy and the device is available at vnete.

They live very close to my home, but I have no former diesqsel vehicle (or new for that matter). Apparently related they do not apply the technique to gasoline engines or LPG !!!
