old cars FWD 6cyl

by AC » 13/07/07, 11:36

Hello everybody

I would like to know if someone has already tried the Pantome system on an old car (at least 50 years)?
I have a Citroen 6 front-wheel drive but I hesitate to get started not knowing too much or going.
Merci à vous
Andre

Hi and welcome here

There is no contraindication to modify (doping) older vehicles. On the contrary, it would give them a "youthful look" ...

The only additional obstacle is the fact for a collector "purist" to keep the maximum of original parts and therefore to find all the modified parts in duplicate ...

Wait a few weeks before you start, we are preparing a new part of the synthesis site on the Pantone and specially for people in your case.

OK thanks to you .
My friend's sister did (let's say doing because the "internship" of this weekend did not foresee everything) the "transformation" on her 1991 clio ......
As for the Citroen 6 cyl. , the complete exhaust is sold in the professionals of the old auto parts and my idea is to keep the exhaust part of origin as it is, and to buy the same part for the system Pantome.
Like that, it's reversible
But I do not dare to start alone.
Knowing that the car is between 15l and 18l 100kms, would be fine if it worked ........................ for the environment and my door -monaie.

I find it a shame to "damage" a beautiful 15/6 like that ... There must not be any masses left in driving condition.

You really ride a lot with?

For once, : Mrgreen: : Wink:
I totally agree with Bucheron! It is true that it is a beautiful piece of museum that you have between the fingers ...

So, if you pantonise (which can bring him a charm too), do it well! But I guess that's in your sense ...

Good luck!!

Ben you do not read what he says?

He wants to do something reversible! I strongly support the idea!

It would be fun to get the pollution figures of modern catalyzed vehicles ... in addition to reducing the consumption of 20% ...

Well, if it's really reversible, why not ... It's true that suddenly it can be a "showcase" ...

Bonjour à tous

It's a nice car, it's always interesting to edit but the image that it may peddle ... is that it is the technology of yesterday. : Lol:
