4LTrophy doped water and sponsored ... to econologic

by Christophe » 17/02/10, 14:33

Here is a "file" that I had not told you about yet: the eco-store has sponsored a 4L which will leave for the 4LTrophy 2010.

This 4L was itself equipped with water doping by the Corner stone

The 4L Trophy ™ is an Adventure Raid reserved for students in the Moroccan desert aboard the Renault 4L. Young people in search of Adventure live a unique experience combining sporting challenge, change of scenery and solidarity.

Solidarity since the objective of the 4L Trophy ™ is also to send school and sports supplies to the poorest children in Morocco. Over the years, this recipe has made the 4L Trophy ™ the first student sporting and humanitarian event in Europe!

Here are 2 photos I just received (click to enlarge), I couldn't help showing them to you:

The departure is imminent since it is on the 18th so tomorrow!

I hope we will have more photos of the 4L but in a more "exotic" atmosphere! Normally the crew should debrief us.

(the 4L Econologie.com team has the number 918!)

In particular, the store had already equipped a 4LTrophy in 2009: https://www.econologie.com/forums/4l-trophy- ... t7311.html but this had not been sponsored (so no sticker)

There is discalification in the air, because it is not a 4L but a 4TL : Mrgreen:

for the info 4L was the diminutive of Renault 4 L (like luxury) the difference was on the level of the third side window and the seats which were more elaborate and comfortable than the basic version which were "suspended folding seats.

This is a TL finish (luxury tourism) : Cheesy:

It's not good to laugh. My parents had one (the flashy red-pink) until I was about 10 years old ... in short, I spent all my youth transported in a 4L !!

On the other hand I never really understood why there were 2 Renault 4 type cars at Renault ...

The 4L: http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_4

ps: personally, I thought the L was a play on words with 4 wings (4 doors)! : Cheesy:

I don't care

I also knew the R4 during my childhood and even the friend 8 Citroen ...

I also drove myself in a r4 minivan of 69 (6v and no belt) for 2 years ... And at my job we worked on ours in 2003 it was our only service vehicle ... Who said that in oil we throw money out the windows ...

Reassure yourself Christophe ... I know where I come from ... And where I come from a 4l or a deuche were the vehicles by excellence to confront the sagging departments without breaking their backs ...

The 4L F6 models were the only ones that I could not sow or catch up with my 2CV6 from 4CV tax (special series from 1972 to Germany, Ami6 engine on 2CV chassis ... 35CV under the hood).

4l doped

by tigrou_838 » 19/02/10, 10:18

hello to all.

hold this discussion makes me think of my second car, a renault 4 year 1962/3 if I remember correctly, one of the first 4 speed still in 6volts.

in winter, contact, choke, and crank in front of the engine, 1 half turn and it would start a quarter of the way, even at least 15 degrees.

a very good little four cylinder reliable and economical, and who liked to ride in towers.

good at night in 6 volts, we had to look for the route a bit, especially on the small roads of Auvergne and Limousin.

in any case very good thing this sponsor for doping, and the site.

Little question about the pantone engine for the 4l trophy

by Mister François » 19/02/10, 20:07

Bonjour à tous

We are a small group of students who wish to embark on the construction of several pantone engines for the 4 2011l trophy.

Having done a lot of research on the subject we no longer know where to turn.

If someone lives in the island of France and wishes to give us some advice we would be delighted

Thank you in advance

François
