Dr. Robert Holcomb MD, Ph.D., is the Inventor, Co-Owner and Co-Founder of Holcomb Scientific Research (HSR). Dr. Holcomb invented and developed the HSR patent portfolio. A prestigious academic and physician with publications in scientific and academic journals worldwide, the HES is the culmination of Dr. Holcomb’s life’s work and genius, combining a state-of-the-art scientific philosophy with a rigorous academic approach and a passion to change the world.

Can you tell me more about Holcomb Energy Systems and what your team has achieved?

Certainly, Holcomb Energy Systems is a research and development company that has, over the last 13 years, engineered a scientific breakthrough in clean energy production with the release of the Holcomb Energy System (HES). The HES is a suite of zero-emissions technologies comprising The HES In-Line Power Generator, The HES Phase Converter, and the HES Stand-Alone Power Generation System.

What makes the HES unique is that our system is fully capable of producing 100 percent clean energy without the need for an external fuel source. The HES does so by harnessing the electron spin from the atoms in electrical steel - the material from which the HES is constructed. The HES is completely scalable anywhere electricity is needed - from consumer electronics, transportation, residential and commercial buildings, all the way up to power plants. Because it has no moving parts, the HES runs at room temperature, with no wear and tear - therefore, it requires virtually no maintenance. All of our products are completely fuel-less, release no emissions, have no moving parts, and therefore, run totally silent.

How exactly does the Holcomb Energy System work?

The power to run the HES comes from one of the world’s most abundant resources: iron. Inside the system, energy is harnessed from the electron spin within electrical steel, magnifying the electrical energy input by up to 500 percent. This also means that the system is capable of generating five units of electrical output with just one unit of electrical input. Has this technology been independently verified?

Yes, it has! The HES has been independently witnessed-verified and certified by SGS and DNV-GL, the world’s leading witness verification and certification firms, proving that they’ve been designed to the highest possible standards. In addition, the HES has been certified to UL and NEC (National Electric Code) standards which allows it to be seamlessly integrated into electrical grids globally.

How do the HES’ benefits compare with traditional power sources?

The HES offers a generational leap in energy production compared to traditional, polluting fossil fuels such as gas, coal, nuclear, and thermal power plants. When compared with its fossil-fuel-based peers, the HES requires no destructive mining or fracking, releases no harmful emissions, and produces no waste, heat or noise. With traditional energy sources, power must be generated in centrally located power plants and carried along transmission lines to its destination. With the HES, power is generated on-site, right where it is being used.

The system also rivals contemporary renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydroelectric and geothermal power by producing electricity at a far more economical rate, while maintaining constant reliability irrespective of the prevailing environmental conditions. The HES is available at a fraction of the cost of any form of electricity available today, even fossil fuels.

What are the capabilities of the Holcomb Energy System?

The invention of the Holcomb Energy System bears great significance, as it now means that we can address some of the world’s most pressing environmental and social justice issues in a cost-effective, time-efficient capacity. For many years, humanity has needed clean energy production infrastructures that can be implemented globally to slash carbon emissions and provide emerging nations access to carbon-neutral, affordable, point-of-use energy.  The team at Holcomb Energy Systems is eager to play our part in tackling these ongoing global issues and the invention of the HES is the first step in doing so.  

Do you have any use cases for the Holcomb Energy System?

We have been powering the Holcomb Energy Systems’ 12,000 sq ft research and development center, as well as two 2,400 sq ft commercial buildings for the last three consecutive months, reducing carbon footprints and power bills by up to 80 percent. For much of that time, we have been powering these buildings off the grid entirely. We have been able to accomplish this by utilizing the electricity produced and magnified by the HES. 

Where do you see Holcomb Energy Systems in the next 5-10 years?

Our primary objectives are removing global access barriers to clean, cost-effective energy and halting the specter of runaway climate change. We are working to make our technology available everywhere, in residential and commercial buildings, transportation, and along the power grid.  We are currently negotiating with worldwide strategic partners to help progress this vision. 

We are determined to extend access to clean energy to countries that would most benefit from the HES’ capabilities, such as those in the Indian subcontinent, throughout the Middle East and the African continent. Through this framework, we want to positively impact the global economy by creating equitable employment opportunities of which we can all be proud.
