Go see on the site www.conrad.fr : you will get an idea, the flow is indicated.

or:

http://www.allairsystems.be/files/pdffi ... IRF-ZL.pdf

you have everything, flow, noise data

but 35-38 dB seems to me already too much!

Hello, "cylindrical turbine" type fans are very quiet, also think of putting a filter for dust, because this type of idea stirs a lot of air and that does not only have advantages ...

Meow and good wind :P

to carry a useful power it takes a big air flow ... not a small vmc pipes

the bigger the passage, the more you can settle for a low-power, quiet fan

I did the same thing to start the heat of a chimney to another room: hole 60cm diameter in each door

hole of 60cm on the ceiling of the last room towards the attic

hole of the same kind on the ceiling next to the chimney to finish the circuit

60 cm slow fan in the ceiling hole

it worked, it's quiet, but it makes all the noise between all the pieces, it's good when I'm all alone ... it's not advisable in any case

I tried with a pipe 16cm diameter, too low flow to put a powerful turbine so noisy

Thank you all for the contribution.

It's promised, I'll pick up my eye.

I also thought of a turbine by finding a model not too big (place requires) against the dust, I had not thought, thank you pipe.

Sincerely, I do not think of embarking on such a system, I look for something more discreet (60cm is too big for me), it will be worth that I find the right compromise between flow and noise. In any case your system is interesting and must be really effective.

So I'll have to do a lot of tests before making holes in the walls. Especially that the thing will be found in cupboards.
I must already find what to do with the circuit:
- The flexible is easy to set up and avoids the junction by cons not very effective.
- The rigid stainless steel (pvc prohibited) is effective but noisy.

If you have an idea, she is welcome, thank you

It has 1000 X reason, and I would say (to get busy a bit of the question) that the filter should be upstream of the fan.

The noise of the bottom is communicated at the top.

Hi, it will normally go along the stairwell so not too much impact in my opinion.
On the other hand could you inquire with your friend to know how he put it in place, thank you

The noise is mainly at the ends of the tube that radiates, on the way it's not mean. If you stay in diameters of VMC, you will easily find adapted silencers supposed to save a few dB.

+ 1; in addition the filter has a silent function. :P
