Uh I think those of Conrad currently are Chinese ...

I think that Conrad does not manufacture anything they do only commercial (like us) and marketing by affixing their names on some of their products (exactly like Pearl) unlike Brennenstuhl which is a German manufacturer to him ...

VoltCraft is good stuff! But I was not talking about the voltmeters but the econometre equivalent to the PM230 that Conrad offers at 28.X € I think ... but which is far from having the performance of the PM230 ...

I just looked at the catalog:
it is almost the same as mine at 28.90 € and ........ it is a VOLTCRAFT.

the other always at conrad costs 35 € but there is no brand

Anyway I would see I just ordered one in the shop "la cocotte au logie" : Oops:

Do you know what she says to you? : Cheesy: (Thank you for your order when you will not be disappointed you will see and you will be able to compare the 2 devices you want!)

Well, if not, I did the first readings this morning of consumption from my office (pc + screen + router).

Measures over 60h approximately.
Measurement period: 25h31 minute (in other words the PM230 gives you the duration or it detects a power, hold this makes me think that it could be used for specific applications of counting the duration of use of the material)
Consumption: 3,03 kWh
Average power over 25h31 min: 119 W.

Obviously the measurement time is not long enough to be significant and therefore precise enough, but that already gives an idea.

Today I'm going to measure some household appliances and compact fluorescent bulbs of different powers / brands and give you a little report. When I have the luxmeter I can make more interesting measurements with the bulbs.

Consumption "TV" station: 1 60 cm tube TV, 1 small amp 2 speakers + bass and 1 DVD player (the last 2 are rarely on):

Measurement period: 304h05min
Consumption: 15,22 kWh
Average power: 50W

Conclusion: 4 people in front of a TV (12,5W / person) is 10 times more economical than a person in front of a surfing PC (120W / person) : Cheesy:

Ben is that the plugs are not the same ... in Germany for example it "fits" but the system of ground plugs is different ... your devices are therefore no longer protected (just like the PM230 I suppose) . I prefer to clarify this rather than the person having to buy an additional adapter ...

On the other hand at the internal electronic level it is the same thing since it is even compatible with 60 Hz ... It is therefore just a question of mechanical adaptation ...

I made a 25 hour measurement of the new freezer.
the old man was 26 years old and a conso to make his hair stand on end, something like 2.5kg / 24 hours, following a breakage of the fan so I changed it to:

Arthur Martin AMC 3052 CE A + consumption 0.69 / 24h
measured with PM230 0.73 / 24h
That is to say little difference, especially since it may be set a little higher.
