Didn't you mean (to tease Guy who you like)?

* if you see bamboo there, pull them out (yourself?) as quickly as possible

Exactly, when we put bamboo there, somewhere else in their natural environment, we have to control their reproduction, otherwise we are quickly invaded...

There is a certain proximity between bamboos and Obamot: both take advantage of the slightest gap to spread. The second in malicious and risky remarks: insinuating that Guy would have planted these bamboos is pure mockery, because he knows nothing about it at all, but he tries anyway... Damn, damn, there will always be something left. : roll:

My dear Ahmed, I have noticed a certain intellectual slackening on your part over the last few months. Here you are taking advantage of this to justify a gratuitous insult...

Double fault then...

But next time I'll amputate both hands before planting "giant" and creeping bamboos.. Once the problem is solved, I will make ivy swarm. From a biodiversity point of view, ivy is a blessing. Bamboo is beautiful, it is a good hedge, but it does not benefit anyone. Even pandas only eat certain species (no offense to the other lunatic), not others. In short, bamboo is shit (JP Coffe).

I have had a lot of bamboo at home for about ten years, at the beginning of the rhizomes of course, but it is quite easy to control.
This is not an ordinary plant, it is a balance to be found. A bit like a spring that you stretch or relax, see the photos...

The basic rules, the more leaves you have = the more rhizomes you have, it's the balance to find, you have to strip it over about 1,5 m
A rhizome cut 3 times no longer grows back in this place, I have a robot mower and 3 lawns with bamboo everywhere, no problem.
It needs to be looked after every year, not left to run wild.

Mr. "malicious-asshole-who-just-came-to-try-to-annoy-you-after-an-absence-that-needs-to-be-renewed-urgently" and who can't read:
The cinder blocks are the neighbor's chicken coop. (without chickens). gardening/bamboo-t16027-20.html#p557067
There haven't been any chickens at the neighbor's for over 40 years... I'm still pissing myself laughing.
