Improve biodiversity in the garden: islands of wild life!

Following this topic Agriculture / destruction-of-the-biodiversity-by-sake-of-cleanliness-t16043.html I launch this specific one on the theme of what I call a "island of biodiversity" in other words "a corner of the garden left intentionally wild".

The "decorum" and the good manners want that one does not leave his garden fallow, at least the visible part of the street (I did it during 8 years so I had the right to remarks and blablabla ...) ... on the other hand let a garden grow improves biodiversity.

A good compromise, I think, is to leave, here or there, places not maintained. This is good because my garden, sloping and due to plants, is rather complex to maintain ...

Here are the (many) places I left wild, photos taken BEFORE mowing. As I am not an ayatola of mowing, it will be difficult to distinguish the lawn from the wild on some! Reassure you I would do another series after mowing ... (bin yes, mow it already pump me but then mow in the heat no thank you )

The old shoes stuck here or there are attempts to nest, but only one has been used ... Maybe the smell?

I even have a fern corner (the forest is not far)!

Yes Didier I saw it and I made this subject following this one: Agriculture / destruction-of-the-biodiversity-by-sake-of-cleanliness-t16043.html just to show that a "compromise" was possible between the sanitization of "golf lawns" (as in my neighbor and in 95% of people ... I think ???) and completely wild gardens ...

Gardens that can be too wild and therefore inconceivable for many people ... the islets are certainly a little more ...

Biodiversity islands, vectors of soil fertility, troglasses from every angle ... Easy to do and maintain, we have everything to gain by reconnecting with these practices.
