MP is one thing. (deemed impossible in the state of our knowledge)
The MM, is another. the challenge is there, so much the better if someone finds the trick: already when I was 10 years old, I went down to see my father's engineer, saying "daddy, daddy, I have a great idea ..."
Magnets are re-magnetized in seconds. Imagine that it is necessary to maintain such an engine by dismantling it every 3 or 4 years, it is playable, right?

at the moment there is no element allowing
to imagine that this engine actually works
let's wait for this demo (if it actually happens) with
independent verification and continuous operation

You can wait a long time, as long as the PUBLICATION of the theses will take place BEFORE any tangible result.
Hmm ... As if it was not clear enough!
always ready to draw !!!
he intervenes on all subjects even and especially when
he knows absolutely nothing !!
it's absolutely sorry to be void

Nothing to see with "Chopping"... At all.
Perhaps you have not read well what is written here:
https://www.econologie.com/forums/post248935.html#248935
It gives you part of the answer.
It is a principle of ethics and deontology ... And especially of respect for those who respect these rules in front of those who wallow on them, and who argue with an air of understanding.
(even if by expressing some reservations to give oneself a good conscience but to continue more beautifully to argue on unhealthy bases, because based on syllogisms, this is what is of a great over-nullity in the quest for the grail of the on-unit or what do I know) ...
So, the ugly duckling is not what you think

Arf, there are only trolls who can troll, think!
My two cents, with some basic knowledge about magnetism: I think it's not just that!
Before believing that it can work, has Cuicui and others checked the duration of energy conservation? (Including the energy - well "taken somewhere" - and dispersed by the intrinsic magnetism of the magnets, magnetism which is partially lost since the magnets demagnetize each other, just as the earth's magnetic field will have its influence to take into account in the equations ...! Creating more energy than one would consume in this context, takes the challenge ... If this had been possible, we would have already used it for the measurement of time , by making this handicap of magnetism, an asset! Because yes, in the absence of a possibility of generation higher than that known and measurable of the system, it is a handicap an obstacle to the very desired goal, magnetism is intrinsically a brake (first of all). Impossible to get out of this thread on the paw
Imagine that in my corner, there is a watchmaking tradition for a very long time. And watchmakers have always been interested in this problem! Because maybe you didn't know it, but magnetism has always been the bane of mechanical movements, precision question !!! And this is where the subject is interesting: on the one hand we have those who seek to make motors, and on the other some would have liked to do without the magnetic problem in a movement, but they are never there arrived completely with metal. Magnetism has never been able to be neutralized as a whole, so it produces undesirable effects ... it is the opposite proof!
We kind of forgot all that with quartz movements, but what I'm reading here and there in this thread is startling. Long before them, sailors, for about 2000 years, were confronted with all these phenomena of magnetism and learned to measure them and thanks to them, to orient themselves! Even getting used to it (everyone knows that magnetic phenomena are not regularly stable, there are spatial and temporal variations ... the jumps of secular variation ... etc). Imagine for a single moment that we could escape it, because if we wanted a "perennial" movement it would be necessary ... (therefore to escape the losses and the exogenous influences of any system using magnetism) is a beautiful illusion, amha.
By way of example, a coercive field of 200 to 600 KA / m which would suppress the magnetization of an engine, would be much lower by cycling the returning field. (It is not me that I said it, huh ... not draw, see also the work of Vincent Courtillot and so many others).
So those who do research in this area, would do well to look into all that has already been done! So as not to have to repeat the same experiences over and over again ...
Mebon, what I say about it ... when we get confused, at least we learned something.

Only an alternative force can create energy
This loss of strength of the magnets, I noted it on the magnets which are used to clean the panes of my aquarium.

Haa magnets: what magic.
From my experience as a watchmaker: it is a hassle, moreover we very often use the de-magnetizer (on parts and tools), if not goodbye the ticking. Hence the massive use of anti-magnetic stainless steel.
Good: I did not watch this engine described above. Too much to believe ...

If a loopback is possible (which is not proven), could we not assume that this arrangement restores the energy injected at the start to magnetize or re-magnetize the magnets?

A less sophisticated assembly: the looping is not done.
