Ahmed, we do arithmetic
You had estimated to 3600 joules the energy abandoned when passing a car on a plate 20 cm high system, must be given a base and I think it is realistic for lack of real measure.
Correction legal version, height 10 cm:
let's count 2500 joules for simplicity.
One can count on 25 km / h the average speed of crossing a speed bump, a average wheelbase of 3 m
Counting 1 m slope of the plate, to meet the standards.
3600 / (25000 / 4) = 0.57 seconds
200 X 2500 / 3600 = 138 Wh for 200 vehicles per hour.
It will be less than that recovered by counting the losses of transformation and storage on a battery

Re: A new revolutionary speed bump
Excellent in terms of substance, but I allow myself to make a very small formal correction which seems to me to correspond better to the "playground" style:
"That's who says who's there, na-na-nere!"
PS: I hope you will not hold me rigor?

Re: A new revolutionary speed bump
The energy would be recovered at each axle passing by power peaks too short and especially too high for a battery. One or more super capacitors could provide the intermediate, charge on the tips and discharge into the battery over a longer time not to exceed C / 10.Remundo wrote:great, we can have a 100W lamp, exciting
Anyway, if it remains 40 Wh saved in the battery it would be beautiful.
