but you could also try to inject steam just upstream of the valve to clean ..... difficult / complicated
Yes hardly possible given the situation. + In the valve and the whole system is Quiche behind the engine, invisible, inaccessible.
reverse the position of the EGR valve so that it is after the exchanger and not before.
The problem is that the valve opens at low engine speed. So it shall prevent vapor happen when one climbs in the towers.
Somehow + general, this is a prob to use the valve at the same time that doping water. Solvent by blocking open (maybe ... to see how the electronic acts).
I think 2 use of the EGR system:
-inject the mist coming out of an econokit type bubbler into the EGR exchanger instead of the ldr. This is then bypassed. The mist (which is not vapor in the strict sense of the term but liquid water, if I understand correctly) is charged (or simply turns into "real" vapor on contact with the gas and comes out to be injected into the gas. air duct conventionally Problem: loss of the cooling function of the exchanger since the mist is hot enough (although, I do not know the temperature of the ldr when it comes in if it is the same: 40 -50 °).
Another problem, and that is my lack of chemical XP / phys, fog circulate it to you as well as ds ldr exchanger. Appeal to those who have already tested. otherwise I'll buy can be a occas pr experiment.
-Use the gas out of the egr (dc ds low regimes) to simply enter the bubbler, but it will require a reactor.
Honestly the more I try the steam, the less I feel I understand. All I see is that the settings are so complex (type of metal that will pass through the fog that can reduce pressure ...) I'll take the time in this case. It's worth in any case qd I see all the benefits and potential of steam (I get my upright vacuum steam just now. No I will not my engine will inject ds
