Is the Lilac wood interesting?

Wood heating question? An old lilac was the victim of the wind in my garden. Is his wood interesting to burn or not

(for example, does it smell nice or not)

In short: do I transfer or keep?

Hi,

It is a hard and fairly dense wood so dry, it is a good wood to burn. As for the smell, no idea even if I burned a lot.

Will I wait until spring to give a second chance to what is left?

There must indeed be quite a few roots, which will find a way to bring about their resurrection.

Obamot,

for what remains in the ground, this is probably what I will do, but the tree itself broke.
So I have to somehow get rid of something 4-5 m, 20 cm at the base.

Ooops, isn't there some kind of paint that gets on the part still in the ground to prevent it from rotting? In this case, before, make a clean cut just below the break ...

Why do you think it broke? If not because it was rotten to the core?

But, there are still some good logs to come out of. If it's only 2 evenings, that's always taken.

Why are you taking the lead?

Wood is wood.

You cut, you let it dry and it will burn. More or less, taking more or less the fire, but it is not important.

If you had to buy 5 cubic meters, it would be different : Mrgreen:
