Yes, that is planned.

I have already made a panel with pipe, about 25m, and I will make others...

I have all the space I need.

I followed your post at the time.

A small pump could maintain, but difficult to take 1° per day.
But I don't have a stretch budget either.

Direct solar is the best for a swimming pool...because the filtration pump runs anyway!

You can make cheap solar panels... not even glazed: simple garden hoses (black if possible, it can be painted) on a black tarp is enough!

The important thing is not the yield, it is the power, therefore the surface since 30°C is sufficient!

A large surface will cost you less than 10€ per m2...

HS 52 kWh gas boiler => there's no way to find a second-hand burner (if that's what's HS, or what is it?)

28°C mini, well I don't really see how to heat to such a temperature without something efficient like... gas.
Because with electricity it will be very, very expensive since the yields are bad.

So there is a plan to buy heat pumps to heat the water, but in general we do the opposite, we're going to steal its calories from the water to heat the house.

A heat pump is still expensive for what you do with it... What about the thermal insulation of the house?

This is hs electronics, 18-20 year old boiler. I replaced it myself with an old chilly one, 23 kW. Sufficient now, because I also have a boiler stove, plus a heat pump for the house. Stove bought new, heat pump used...

So new heat pump for the pool, which will be 40m from the house...

Currently I have 750 Wp of solar, to partially compensate for the heat pump.

That's what I feel when you "yell" on certain posts.

Insults are free.

It's not pleasant.

To come back to the pipes, yes it is planned, but I was not thinking of putting black in the background, but rather something like aluminum foil, but that may be bullshit too ....

Yes, you would have the opposite effect! : Mrgreen:

You can do the test: measure the temperature of a black tarpaulin (or other) and aluminum foil after a few hours in the sun with the same orientation...

When you take the tp of the tarp, isn't it the tp of what's under the tarp that you take? I would have believed that.

Will aluminum foil reflect more heat back to the pipe?

I was also thinking, in another montage, of recovering plastic water bottles, and passing them through the pipe, but probably also a bad idea, but I'm here to learn, to benefit from your experiences...

Make a pond instead, it will be better for the planet and no need to provide heating. : Wink:

I had read this some time ago.

From what I read quickly, you need 2m2 per m2 of pipe pool, but at what density, linear meter?

I saw a comment that said that with a long length the pump would be insufficient....

Thinking about it, yes, black can be better, because underneath it's going to be hot.....

It is not false ! And you'll just have to pay the tarp! : Cheesy:
