Hello everyone and Happy New Year

It's super simple and obvious, but he is the only one who thought of it!

Hi Boubka,
No, it's more complicated than a simple plate; it is a double, and the first (on the side of the ball), is adjustable from front to back.
The further the first plate is away from the ball, the more the heating power will be reduced. And the big drops eliminated.
And the second plate prevents runoff from the first plate from falling into the boiler.
On the first photo you show, it's just a plate that prevents thermal radiation from fouling the ball.
All the oil spray passes in the case of your photos; and precisely that which should be avoided.
The difference is size.

hello lejuste
ok, the innovation is very interesting for your type of burner with a hole of 1 mm, but with a small hole of a few tenths of a mm no large droplets so useless.
I particularly like the simple, compact assembly, which is easy to maintain, well suited for mounting in a tube

Ha !!!!, +1 Macro
It complicates things; let's say that when it's a gas ignition, it's simpler :D
Just by electric ignition, not yet tried.

So first you have to make a gas burner, to light the ball burner ...

Another thing since I drilled holes over the entire height of the tee behind the ball I no longer have fouling neither of the tee nor of the ball, Without anti large drop washer or thermal deflector ...

In all simplicity what ...

My only problem at the moment is my pump lifting the tank from the bottom to the top ...

Since my Ekerle has finally given up, I replaced it with a Suntec ... It defuses for a yes or a no all by itself without apparent reason ...
I found a diesel engine oil pump. I have to couple it to an electric motor and immerse it directly in the sauce ...

For that, I use an oil burner pump, it works nickel.
But I removed the internal filter from the pump
On the other hand there is a tank water filter (at the suction) to protect this pump.

It is also true that I have a heating friend who gives me his corpses of oil burners. :?

The suntec and the Ekerle are fuel oil burner pumps, also emptied of their internal filters but with a filter at the suction level in the lower tank. However, they are coupled to a dryer motor because the motors burners held grease for a maximum of one week ...
