Me, what hurts me, in this whole story,
this is the passive house system:
I explain:
In a passive house, we must force the change of air in the house.
So, we suck the hot air from the house, and via an exchanger, we bring in fresh air, which is heated by the exhaust air.
It's a shame not to be able to do the same, with a chimney flue, the output would be enormous.
The pellet fan ... super interesting :D

Well, I'm here, and maybe friends, and those who will see it ...

then if it is OK, notify by MP or email and I buy it for you!

or another seller?

thin thin!
even cheaper on ebay, same as other Canadian sites: no shipping to France!

come on I want to offer it for Christmas, a little bit of pressure! 8) 8)

justmilieu thank you for your constructive response.

I believe indeed that it will be necessary to make tests ...

the first, because simpler, is the thermosyphon radiator
above the stove (there is about 2.5m drop), I think I’ll try
with 18 mm copper. easier priming.

if I manage to measure the inlet and outlet T ° of the coil,
I could assess the possibility of placing a longer coil
(assumption !!) to preheat my DHW boiler input, via a
ball...

Blowin ...

unfortunately I cannot place this type of exchanger in
the upstairs bedroom because there is a bend at the crossing
floor ... then sheathing to join the masonry duct ...

place it at the bottom .. ?? in the living room ... well the stove is largely
enough for this piece .. the calories I want (I would like)
use them upstairs ...

I'm looking for .. thank you

I'll keep you informed..

about connection to the boiler return,
Can someone bring me their experience in this area?

I have indeed, an oil boiler, cast iron radiators ..

I would like to know what I should implement, circulator, loop ..?
and how or when to trigger them ... ??

I have a circulator on my heating circuit, but it is coupled
to a room thermostat which turns it off as soon as the stove
heating enough, normal what .... do we need another one ..?

Thank you

I read with great interest this post.
you can not consider a recovery of calories on the smoke pipe, because it must especially not cool it, it will bistr, clog the pipe until it is obstructed, and even more serious destroy it by a very powerful acid which forms .

Damn. Because that is precisely the idea I wanted to use ...

Hello

Since nobody is interested in my intervention on page 3 about forcing smoke in a deliberately reduced flue in a concentric flue, here is a link to a hardware manufacturer.
You will find examples of suction pipes for boilers and smoke extractors precisely, which may help you to think about it or .... to forget me (humor)

Toto, advice, try and improve before giving up

A + (or not?)

Hello,
we waited a bit for you to develop! -)
tell us a little more!
you want to reduce the smoke outlet duct ??

does a chimney wind turbine do the same? :

> patkersule, mmoi my heating regulation is:
the boiler always maintains a setpoint of 60 ° C and always turns (just to regulate) as well as the regulator.

my thermostat controls a 4-way mixing valve, which mixes the cold return from the heating loop with the boiler's own loop. the thermostat must have 3 wires (common, normal open, and 1 normal closed for the 4-way valve).
yes 2 loops, a boiler hot circuit and a radiator heating circuit!
this is the best "I presume" principle ...

The smoke extractor, I lived in a house that was equipped with it, and I was not at all convinced. Already if you do not systematically start it your chimney will no longer fire. Then it's pretty noisy. I do not know if it becomes over time, but in the house where we were, it dissuaded us outright from using the fireplace.

Maybe it won't have the same effect with a stove.

Hello,

sorry i don't quite understand how are placed
your loops, hot return, boiler loop, radiator etc ...

a drawing...??
