Given that the bathroom will be more heated (a priori) than the bedroom and that the wools do not tolerate humidity very well and that the concrete is breathable: I clearly vote for cellular concrete

Okay, that's my idea too. But in this case what as a coating.
Because if I put earthenware, it becomes more breathing, so the idea of a hemp lime coating.
To paint with an ecological paint.
And the idea that someone may have already had, although not very clear.
Beet or pumpkin juice. therefore purple or ocher yellow.

In the same style, have there been any attempts with walnut husk to stain the wood, it's vintage and it must protect it well.

A special Ytong cellular concrete coating must be used.

I do not know at all if eco-friendly coatings could be suitable (expansion coefficient?).

Put an ecological coating that will last a few months and that will have to be changed, it is unfortunately not ecological.

In some cases we don't have (yet?) A choice.

With us the exterior plaster is a classic plaster, that is to say not special Ytong, it is almost cracked on each glue joint!

So very important the coating with the Ytong.

I am talking about an interior partition.
I have a firewall behind the fireplace, which I had coated with plaster at the time so that it would be smooth (I didn't know :))

Was serious about house painting ideas.

I also speak of interior partition :)

I gave the example of our exterior plaster just to tell you that we can't put what we want on ytong.

In addition, between a bathroom coating (high humidity) and an exterior coating, there should not be a big difference in performance.

The problem with the Ytong is that it expands bcp more than other materials. And so if the coating is not suitable it will crack ...

Answer to the basic question: fermacell, wooden frame filled with cellulose wadding, fermacell.

Possibility of finishing: lime plaster, tiles, organic paints, etc ...

Hello,

do you recommend putting cellulose wadding in a bathroom?

don't you think humidity and water vapor degrade the insulation?

Thank you
