Yes and its variant / evolution PIR (polyisocyanurate) is even better, I put in 2012, lambda: 0.023

Uh what do you mean by "cook"?
PU / PIR is one of the most "resistant" insulators, very good resistance to humidity for example (Achilles heel of a lot of wool or loose insulation) ...
It is the UV that degrades PU / PIR the most ... and possible rodents ...
The big defect of this type of insulation that I see is the spread of fire and smoke pollution! Better not to be around if one day it burns ...
