Hello

good then I do a little quick tour ... right now I bring work home and I pass every night in front of my install which does not advance!

thank you for your looping research.
by going to see on the balloon the connection of the current exchanger it is 3/4 ... so not so big as it makes it!

in any case it is true that I suddenly looked a little at the size of the exchangers and 1.1m² it is light on the exchange surface.

by looking more closely at my balloon I have the 2 orifices of the middle exchanger which are marked on the PVC cover of the ROTEX but not pierced ... I therefore do not have this famous heating exchanger.

good considering that I don't like to do things in half and that the balloon is still empty I think that I will launch out in the construction of an exchanger for the heating like this one:

https://www.econologie.com/forums/constructi ... 49-30.html

ideally I would prefer to modify the existing one but I searched everywhere and I did not find or buy ringed tube in
stainless steel???
if someone can tell me where i can get this?

or even to make a large exchange surface I keep the current exchanger and I add a homemade copper or stainless steel ringed over the entire height of the tank and I connect the 2 exchangers in series. the idea is good?

Bonjour,

For the manufacture of an exchanger, you have to look at the different reports of the self-builds here:

Hello
I'm back !

good my install has progressed a lot but not yet completed I almost finished connecting the boiler and the stove (for the last connection I have to send the little family for a ride because I have to turn off the heating) I have succeeded in blowing the chimney on a sunny day when I was not working, as much to say that they were rare!

there I am taking care of connecting the stove and I would have a question or two

is it possible to move the safety valve tared at 3 bars to put it lower than the stove in the basement? about 1m away from the stove

another question it is better to put it on the stove outlet pipe (the flow) or the cold return?

one more
for auto bleeders at the stove we agree that I only need 1 on the highest pipe in other words on the start?
no need to put one on the return?

well, apparently it's not a forum specialized in alternative heating? ...

Hi Jo,

Uh, what is alternative heating for you?

230V AC Nuclear? : Mrgreen:

: Lol:

no I know that several members of this forum have made "alternative" installations, ie solar, wood, etc., but like mi16man or others I was looking for technical answers to special, "alternative" configurations;
also I found answers, but many, simple I think were not given, so it may well not be the forum adequate, it is true that it is a little more theoretical than practical?

in fact my message was waiting a little for a moderator or a specialist in the matter ... I think I found a beginning of orientation which looks rather good in the field (which I hoped to dig here):

PS: I know you are a specialist and my hook worked well, thank you

Hello,
this diagram was drawn by a forumeur, it will also be almost mine;
the non-return valves are there when the circulators do not work, because subject to t ° C:

for example if you do not make a fire, the loop of the boiler is cold, the gas boiler should not heat this loop like a radiator, otherwise the wood stove will go up in t ° C, it would be a loss of heat: thus the valve prevents it.
that's for the valve that comes from the wood stove circuit.

ditto for the one coming from the gas boiler: this must be ordered to maintain the radiator loop at t ° C, at a certain t ° C, with starting of its circulator: when the circuit is at t ° C, the hot water produced by the wood stove must not return to the boiler, but it must go through the radiators.

so they are there to ensure the good circulation of hot water when the circulators are not running.
