Fireplace / double hearth / boiler / questions

by Adri50 » 22/11/19, 17:53

Hello, I come to this forum because I built this stove, which works very well I am very satisfied.
I was inspired by the double-focus chimney polyflame, the operation is the same ... A hot air blower blows the air in two other room air is heated passing through the tubes (t3) which are in the caisson near the fire (see photos)
When I mounted the stove I did not think to put a coil to produce hot water for my central heating but there is an empty space behind the t3 tubes. I can also pass a coil on the front between the stone and the box ...
It is necessary to imagine that sometimes the fire does not go out during 3 weeks the hearth and then super hot ...
If it is cold when I turn on, after a day we do not stay with the hand on the stone on the 25 cm in front of the box ... All that to say that it heated up and that there is inertia ...
In my opinion I must be able to heat a lot of water?
How is the quantity of water that my installation can heat? Can I store hot water in a big buffer tank with a system like that?
If anyone has ideas I'm a taker! Thank you !
