Hello,

I have a boiler that I paid more than 10 euros about 000 years ago and I was told that the heating element had to be changed. I don't know if it's worth it (I haven't received the quote yet). So I'm planning a new boiler. I thought I understood that there are now thermodynamic boilers allowing to have a better performance:

Do you have experience with this type of boiler? I am very disappointed with the brand of my boiler.

that's two machines, not sure it's more "economical"...

"The thermodynamic boiler has an undeniable advantage with its high efficiency of around 181% to 197%, therefore approximately double that of a condensing boiler."

They confuse efficiency and COP, technically to be precise an efficiency cannot exceed 100%.

Thank you dede2002. It would be for a replacement. So what type of boiler is preferable? Do you have an idea of the price?

The proposed link is of very poor technical quality...

A thermodynamic boiler does not exist!!

What exists are heat pumps (air-air, air-water or water-water) and thermodynamic water heaters: https://www.econologie.com/chaudiere-th ... r-energie/

I had measured my air-air heat pump at 500% "efficiency"... : Mrgreen:

There are rare cogenerations with an integrated heat pump, ie a heat engine which produces electricity which totally or partially supplies a heat pump or directly in mechanical coupling without going through the generation of electricity. This kind of thing, you could call it a thermodynamic boiler, but they remained prototypes (at least for individuals) because of enormous costs...

An example that never saw the light of day is that of Sanyo in 2008: heating-insulation / gas-heat-pump-in-cogeneration-by-sanyo-t6555.html

Go now without laughing for less than 10 000€ if you want an "economical boiler", for €10 I'll install you: 000-6 kWp of panels (at €8 per toilet) and 0.8 or 5 air-air heat pumps...(€6 each) PV installed on a self-consumption single meter...

Don't laugh, these are the real market prices, just don't be a neuneus who doesn't work with craftsmen who overcharge. Find out about the real internet prices: https://www.econologie.com/installer-de ... ergetique/

Paying €10 for the installation of an oil boiler (or worse gas) is theft...the real price is 000 to 3000...ah but there were surely bonuses at the time!! : Lol: : Lol: : Lol: : Lol:
