Then you have more than install some PV panels to compensate :)

And supplement with much more efficient thermal solar, and wood, right?

Absolutely not agree with this, we should not generalize and look a little further than France. In Norway? in Sweden ?
In Quebec almost all of the electricity is hydroelectric
apart from a thermal power station an oil (Tracy) a nuclear power station (Gentilly) which are used in winter as a backup. The population wonders about the relevance of keeping these two old plants in operation, while there is hydroelectric potential to exploit in the far north.

This perhaps explains (a little) this impressive COP?

The PM 230 also records the COS Phi: 0.98 in the case of this air conditioner

the transformation of the current is carried out by electronic cards for the continuous motors which comprise the clim of the inverter type.

and it just seems to see even unfavorable, because I pushed the air conditioning all the way tonight, I went up to 2000W max while the plug of the device indicates 1750W max

Well the PM you use indicates what value of cos phi? Normally even with DC motors it is not at 1.0 ...

I didn't know it was inverter DC motors :)

By the way, how does the PM230 calculate the Cos Phi?

Good question ... I have absolutely no idea! There must be a trick with condos or selfs ... it should not be very complicated ...

I haven't dragged my boots around here for a long time :P

A little up info, the air conditioning of this subject has just dropped, leaked on the condenser, so ouste, I replaced it by an EMURA model of Daikin brand
Very quiet with sick COP.

This to say that the economic balance of this low-end air conditioning was however very positive over its lifespan (9 years), in terms of return on investment less than 3 years ca remains economically an interesting solution and a heating system complementary alternative.
