Energy needs of my house - heat balance

by tuttikullikum » 08/02/10, 17:02

Hi,

How to assess the energy need (in W / m²)?

130m² floor over cellar (8cm of cork + 6 of screed + tiling)
of which 25m² is under a terrace with 14cm of cellular glass
100m² floor (upstairs) (not yet done: 8cm of cork + 6 of screed + tiling) under a roof with 20cm of wood fibers in panel (not yet done).

Glass surfaces: 40m² Uw at least 1.3.

Can you guide me?

What perimeter for the exterior walls, and what height?
What region do you live in?

The intermediate floor must not be taken into account ... In fact, the temperature being identical at the top and the bottom, so no heat flow (loss)

Hello,

50m² of perimeter at the bottom (2m50 height)
42m² the attic floor which begins at 1m from the ground

in m² in contact with the living rooms 160m² without the windows which are - + 40m²

I live in Belgium, near France (Maubeuge)

So if I understand correctly:

40 m² of glazing
92m² of walls
100m² of roof (did you take the slope of the roof into account?)
130m² of floor overlooking cellar

After that I didn't understand ... The terrace is over the cellar?
I'm not counting the floor separating the ground floor and the first ...

Which is the nearest French department? (dsl I have nothing on Belgium)

Do you have thermal bridge breakers? (this is important, around 10% of the consumption)

Sorry I wrote m² instead of m : Shock:
I repeat:

- the whole ground is on the cellar.
The ground floor is 130m² → I have a terrace on 30m² of the ground floor, for the remaining 100m², above there is the first floor
50m perimeter

- the floor is therefore 100m²
42m perimeter
- 160m² of exterior wall
- 40 m² of berries

- There is no thermal bridge.

For the department, it is the North : Mrgreen: n ° 59 http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%A9par ... n%C3%A7ais

Hello,
I've been wanting to try my 1983 calculator with more modern materials for a while.
So this is it :
-floor on cellar (5 °) R = 2.44, U = 0.41
-walls: R = 1.72 U = 0.58
-roof: R = 5.15 U = 0.19
- terrace: R = 3.45 U = 0.29
Windows: U = 1.3
Delta T30 ° (-10 ° outside, 20 ° inside) except cellars
Roof losses 100m² (horizontal projection): 0.66Kw
terrace loss: 0.30Kw
wall loss: 4.38Kw
Window loss: 1.81Kw
ground loss: (damn I forgot to raise : Cry: )
+ air renewal

TOTAL losses: 13KW / H

If anyone else can confirm / deny these numbers that would be nice 8)

Hello,

I can neither deny nor confirm but once I am
in the house, I could give you the real numbers.

kW and not kwh or kw / h for power or in this case thermal loss.

let's not confuse, thank you

Re

For the outside temperature, we must take -9 ° C according to this card (which I used a number of times in DUT):
Image

For losses from the cellars we must take 8 ° C
We must take an indoor temperature of 18 ° C.

Who does:

deltaT (° C) surface (m²) R (m². ° C / W) losses (kW)
terrace 27 30 5 0.162
wall 27 160 4.05 1.067
cellar 10 130 1.725 0.754
ceiling 27 100 4 0.675
glazing 27 40 0.769 1.404

for materials the conductivity (W / mK) is:

cork 0.05
brick 0.4
ytong 0.08
wood panels 0.05
cellular glass 0.04
concrete screed 0.5
tile 1.0
Air 0.023

wiki and miscellaneous source
For the losses due to the renewal of air, take 180m3 / h, or 0.00145 kg / s or about 40W (would I have been wrong?)

There are always thermal bridges, but if you can assure me that there are none, then you have good breakers. So let's take 10% of the surface areas ...

So in total: 4.512 kW of max consumption ... We are far from 13, I don't know where I messed up :(

PS: I can't make a table ...
