Bonjour à tous
a question stupid surely, but even my technician Okofen did not know how to answer ...
What maximum weight of pellets is sucked at each refill?
To be clearer: the boiler automatically recharges a buffer tank by suction.
In temperate periods, mine is programmed to do it every evening at 20 p.m., but it only recharges what it has consumed until the "buffer" silo is full.
In cold weather, the full can be done at any time, when the buffer silo is empty.
And it is this weight of pellets that I want to know!
Thank you in advance

The question of the capacity of the hopper was mentioned one or the other time.
I never found an information on the side of Okofen.
And I do not know either of forumwho took the trouble to empty to weigh ...
But as you understand very well, the quantity is not stable:
- the boiler fills up to the sensor level every day at the programmed time
- in very cold weather, this amount is enough for 12 hours, so we are quiet until the next morning
- then the boiler refuel at the scheduled time ...
so the quantity depends on it!

As an indication, at the moment, I only have one "complement" filling at 20 p.m., it lasts about 2 minutes.
I am surprised, at your place, of a "full" filling from 16 p.m. You would have consumed all the intermediate silo! ...?

Continually trying we finally succeed. So more it fails, the more likely it is that it works.

the daily tank is about 55kg pellets but recovery is done on a theoretical volume consumed (counting the number of turns of screws) and must include a safety margin to not go to the bottom of tank, so impossible to say the exact conso at the moment a forced filling is requested.
I found my values:
at home on a PE15 the inner diameter of the daily tank is 37cm. I had calibrated by measuring the number of revolutions of the burner screw over several periods and by measuring how many cm had lowered the level in the tank. the announced 55kgs are probably the entire tank including the cone or so on another boiler. the cylindrical part is rather at home about 60L is about 40kg of pellets.

My technician passed me yesterday. So on an 32 the capacity of the intermediate hopper is about 45kgs BUT this information is useless for calculating its consumption.
In fact, apart from the programmed filling which only adds to it, the "random" filling, therefore outside the programmed time, is triggered by an hour meter placed on the screw of the hopper which supplies the burner.
This time trigger does not mean that the intermediate hopper is empty ...
Have I been clear enough?
