as a heating buffer tank, there is nothing to complain about, but once there has been heating circuit water in it it can no longer be used for DHW.
With plate heat exchangers and recovery tanks, there is a way to make a beautiful gas plant inexpensively.

Well I found a good plan (well I think!)
A factory specializing in solar is destocking for lack of customer to provide ...
Result he sells on the right corner of the exchanger balloon 300 AND 500 Liters!
500 euros for a 500 Liter balloon with heat exchanger etc ...
Who says better?!
There are a few left, so amateurs ...!

+1, this gear should be installed on all stoves, so there are losses at the output.

Hello, and thank you for the "cinema" link
Indeed the schemas on the site are site are animated, it is not common. I also found a lot of information on wood and buffer tanks.
I have a jotul stove and I can see that the flue pipe heats up enormously and this type of water heater could well be a good solution for me for domestic hot water in winter.
In addition I have a room adjoining my garage that I plan to transform into a guest room also serve as a room to tinker without messing up everywhere. A radiator or two plugged into this boiler would be enough to heat this not very well insulated room without costing me anything more.
I also have an old water heater that ran on propane, in the old days I think I could make a small storage tank out of it, but it is only 150 liters.
Does anyone know how many kw of heat can be stored in 150 liters?

Hi everybody
I'm going to see your oli 80 video but I think it has nothing to do with it.
I contacted Bouilleurs de France and he was assured that their exchanger was only made with stainless steel. no copper.
have you seen this manufacturer at your show? the images on their site suggest that it is presented in motion.

Hello, the video is not mine, I found it while researching the rocket stove
the manufacturer of the boiler at this show I saw him, with an open model to see the interior of the boiler but there was no demonstration of the device in operation, in fact the exhibition was in the multipurpose room and outside in the village of Spicheren
on the other hand we have the city of saarbrücken in germany which has the saar mass of the great exhibition halls, in the moselle is
there is also the FIM
(Metz international fair)
in fact on their site there are all their exhibitions
