Seems to me quite energy intensive and expensive at the start?
I had thought of testing the effect of the electric current when they announced the end of the glypho! Terrible, every time we have an idea, others have had it before .
Considering the cross section of the conductors, the current seems high to me, and since I suppose it also works on dry ground, the voltage should also be high if necessary. So yes, it must consume well! I think they have current regulation and not voltage.
On human / animal organisms, the alternative is more effective because of the tetanizing effect on the heart. There (1st link) they say it's continuous, I guess they tested both.
It takes 5000 to 15000 volts says the second link. Can it be miniaturized for the individual? Not sure...
