Oh I forgot the most important, what are the eligibility criteria for the Green Flame label?

On stoves there are "only" 2 criteria: CO and efficiency. For boilers, it's more complete: efficiency, CO, VOC and dust (soot)

They depend on the type of equipment and fuel and are given in the following documents:

a) Green Flame plate Stoves

b) Green Flame boiler plate

c) The full green flame charter accepted by all manufacturers of stoves labeled

In addition there is a temporal evolution durcicant thresholds:

Following is what it is followed or not by the manufacturers already labeled?
In addition, do not forget that, unlike fuel oil or gas whose quality is "standard" and emissions "reduced" if the appliance is properly adjusted, the quality of the wood fuel is a predominant factor.

Put wet wood in a high quality device and its performance will drop as much as emissions increase!

Did67, you will notice that to be green flame on a self pellet boiler, it was THAT 75 2008% yield in!

Some appliances are already doing a lot, a lot, better than the Green Flame label, such as the Rika stoves (classified as "medium to high-end" price level), for which the following are CO emissions:
