I don't think a power failure comes from that, it's more commonly a power transistor or capacitor failure. Have to see what is said about the forums specialists, giving the make and model of the TV.

As I said before, on 817, infinite resistance, whatever the direction, or the measurement points, 2 out of 5.

The other 3, that doesn't mean they're good, it's also based on what's in front, behind.
