Re: Repair a PVC inflatable mattress leak (shit in China)
I usually use Neoprene glue (= synthetic rubber). In addition if the PVC is canvas it holds even better. Before (in the past ...) I added a rubber patch, but I realized that I could remove the patch and that the glue was sufficient.
A little advice: add a can of toluene in the glue which increases the solubility of the neoprene rubber and improves adhesion.
If you want to put a rubber patch, put glue on the 2 parts (patch and mattress ... what were you thinking?) And wait for it to dry (that it no longer sticks to the finger at all), like the prisoner of the tower, then assemble by pressing strongly and tap on it moderately.
Be careful with glues which become rigid as they dry (superglue and pipe glue).
Personally, I will go see Decathlon to get a new mattress or at least a repair kit.
