Repairing a battery charger HS

by Colmant » 25/05/07, 15:36

Hello everyone and rescue

To not throw my battery charger car / truck cad 12 / 24 V
that my little brother toast me by reversing the poles, to load his chest, (he bought me another "Batium" which is super)
I am, repaired if possible.

This is a brand charger Energo Cemont
modeleB 62 / 100 making my Italian ke da is the m ... (no basta, zé plésante)

Is it, a good transformer is Ok 220 input / output 230 12 / 24
the coils are ok
fuses are good,
still what I think to be a diode bridge as seen from above the square, has terminals 4, 1 TBD angle ach
It is written on the side:
+ ~
S. CO. Mr. E.
KBPC 2502
the + is the 12/24 output -> red clamp
~ This is connected to Tranfo
and diametrically opposed
the transformer looping terminal with a kind of condo "BC 330n K 400" which connects these 2 terminals
and the - -> black clamp

I tested the Metrix diode position, current flows from the (red tip Metrix) ~ at (blacktip Metrix)
0,48v value and the other direction incersant tips: nothing
and - the other has ~ same method
0 read, 47v

Who can tell me if I can repair (change) the bridge and how to find the room or controlling différamment.

thank you again for elec-tro-or tri-cians

Hello,

Connecting upside = death diode bridge !!
Well not too serious you are looking for a minimum diode bridge 25 24 Volts Amperes for.
This is in a lot of electronics stores or on the net (Selectronic, go-tronic etc ..)
Statements shall go well or the son:
+ red clip
~ Transformer 1
~ Transformer 2
- Black clamp

Then you defeat your square thing and you change it for a new one. And it's gone for a ride ....

Sélectronic it thee couteras 2.70 Euros over the port to the reference 70.0205

good troubleshooting

Thank you ca it's fast

it will also work for the 12 V ??

Delivery + - 10 days

is + expensive than the other but I have not tried

Hi,

No problems even a 100 Volts march !!
This is especially for Amps to be careful ....
Sélectronic it was a 35 A / V 600

Do not forget to tighten it when you go back, to prevent it from heating too much !!

is a diffuser aluminum underneath, but you inquete I kind of susi to tighten
even that I broke two square "truck" socket in 3/4 "Facom by removing a wheel with an extension of 4 meters, and we state two at the end to unscrew

Hello,

I have a doubt about the fact that your diode bridge is if your hs ... hs bridge was, you would have burnt the fuse !!! To me, all you find is good, then either you have a fuse that you have not seen or security strength, or you have a copper track that has a fuse if you have a little printed circuit board...
Test all your links, you must have a break somewhere ...
Turn on the power and check if you have the secondary voltage at the output of transformer .... in alternative (if you have no juice in high school is that your primary is cut, if you have juice, it is that your cut is farther).
Keep me informed.

A + Serge.

Indeed, there was a 1 A fuse with the entry of the primary was melted. I remplcé but pretty bad seeing it, I could not read the gauge is a small glass tube diam mm 5mm lg 20 I plugged it flashed.
another I could read 0,25A -> normal the flah ... 1A I have not

I took the opportunity to measure the circuits of the primary (2) normal load 9,5 ohms in boost 10,7 ohms

the secondary windings both 0,1 ohm

I bypasses the fuse and I send

on resource ~
load position first second winding 208V 230v
Boost position first winding 230 V second weird weird 255V
a further induced current, or reactive current ??

measurement on the secondary before the diode bridge (son disconnected)

load position, output 12v read
Boost position 12v

position load output 24 v
boost position

ca has beugue with the tab I take

12 12,34 load reading
12 13,34 boost reading

24 load reading 21,83
24 24,14 boost reading

test after the diode bridge

12 14,45 load reading
boost 12 14,56

24 21,22 load reading
boost 24 21,62

the bridge is good
is the little fuse, thank you exeed

SALE OF BRIDGE LED 25A.800V
it is the diode bridge
