Well, I don't know anything about it, but I think I plugged the capacitor wrong, I'm going to make my brain smoke!

depending on the shema you posted there are two ways to plug it in so that the motor starts in one direction or the other. Either it is badly connected or it is out of order.

I don't know if it's an optical illusion, but the red cable seems to me to be bent!

Yeah, it's worth replacing that starter condo: apart from that security issue, it's still a lot more convenient.

No, the assembly carried out makes that one blow the motor turns in one direction, one blow it turns in the other ... Read again friends.
- It would be well to check this diagram “point to point” and ...
- do not change the colors of the cables ... Because if one day we must intervene, we will no longer remember that we changed the color of a cable, and so there .... !!!
- and also, each terminal must in principle be the same color as the cable.
And comparing that to the diagram (of course)
It's not complicated to put it back in order as it was without introducing “new flourishes", damn it! ( )

do not do it stupidly
I had an uncle who had electric motors that did not start when the power was turned on. It was then enough to pull on the strap, leaving your hand outside, not very complicated.
good but you have to see where we came from: our friend was systematically tripping, now it works.
That said, if changing the condo works ...
