Wind power: for or against the wind?

Renewable energies except solar electric or thermal (seeforums dedicated below): wind turbines, energy from the sea, hydraulic and hydroelectricity, biomass, biogas, deep geothermal energy ...

Incidentally, unlike some who say that wind turbines disfigure our beautiful France, I would answer that, on the contrary, I find it very beautiful. On the other hand, the places eaten up by shopping centers and their infested parking lots, not at all. : Mrgreen:

Went in Beauce on the A10 4 times yesterday .... It's true that in these vast plains ..... These subsidized fans have a certain charm .... In my pretty green valley ... .Well I will probably find them less charming (but hey that's settled the winds are not favorable) .... That said ... Wind fields between orleans and paris or nuclear power plant between orleans and blois .. .. The choice is quickly made .... I vote for the fan ... : Cheesy:

But this is my personal choice and my artistic vision of the thing ....

The question that bothers me is why have not put it on all the buildings in the con-en-agglomeration .... it would save concrete ...

On buildings, that would induce significant mechanical stresses for which these buildings are not planned and in new buildings, additional costs that are difficult to estimate (I don't even know if that would be reasonably possible).

So let's wait for the opinion of the specialist in superstructures ...

Hello
To closely follow a citizen wind project, I do not understand this term subsidy fan. Electricity would be purchased 7c / KWh, the only advantage being the guarantee of the price whatever the hour and over the duration of the contract but that does not seem excessive to me.
On the other hand, there is no aid, the project is quite profitable without, brings in a lot of local taxes and sufficiently profitable to precisely interest local communities in investment (but not at all in loss).

Have a good day

Here, the stupid Picard continues his misinformation by making the trash more beautiful and is still fixing up for nuclear power. Did you say amazing?

62 wind turbines "Installed 12 km from the island of Yeu and 17 km from the island of Noirmoutier, the turbines will necessarily be visible from the coast"

Being against the installation of wind turbines for visual discomfort... why not.

But you still have to be pretty inflated.

These inhabitants are the first to have completely disfigured their islands !!!!!!!!!!!!!! With their "shitty" houses (whether old or new), their "shitty" roads (to get to these houses), their "shitty" stores (to supply these houses).

They have selfishly modified nature and the panorama for their very personal needs... their island is no longer natural or wild.

Come and say now, no, "leave us our beautiful natural landscape"... Must be damn twisted!

Ok... let's not set up anything offshore... but in this case... Let's restore the islands to their natural appearance (without human constructions).

It's going to be a lot of rubble to bring back to the continent : Cheesy:
