Wind power: for or against the wind?

Renewable energies except solar electric or thermal (seeforums dedicated below): wind turbines, energy from the sea, hydraulic and hydroelectricity, biomass, biogas, deep geothermal energy ...

Put on your binoculars and you will see that it was a simple play on words on "Faure" => "strong" ...

Relation to "Tryphon and ABC reunited"?
because they are strong too and not weathervanes? I can believe it, but it was ambiguous in your post.

Carbon footprint of work and maintenance studies almost irrecoverable over the life of wind turbines, not to mention ecological damage. :x : roll:
In Denmark it's a fiasco, but it's not enough.

Not in Natura 2000 sites, nor under these conditions.

Wind is 10 times more consumer of basic materials (concrete, steel, aluminum, copper, etc.) per quantity of electricity produced than controllable power plants (6), coal and gas in Germany, nuclear in France (figure 7). This is due to a much shorter lifespan (20 years) than that of modern controllable power plants (60 years) and to their low efficiency.

368/160 = 2.3 not 10!
objectivity does not seem to be the main focus of this article :(

the service life must be able to be greatly extended beyond 20 years, knowing that the heavy structure is fixed, this will have a low carbon impact and will significantly reduce the material / kWh ratio
nuclear power plants have been extended from 40 to 60 years : Wink:
I wonder what cement for solar panels is?

why not put a mini nuclear power station on the Ile de Ré?
visibly re-future prefers offshore wind turbines
