I ramble on a story because I found it interesting and worthy of remembrance.
In foundries and rolling mills, it can't be more idyllic, but I've only known that.

Yes it was a great anecdote!

I worked for 2 months (1999 I think) at SOLAC Flat Products in Strasbourg at the galvanizing unit. It was funny to cover the archimede push of the duck of the baby bath but galvanized version in fusion, when one added (by hand ... finally with the pincers) the zinc ingots in the crucible (and another thing in smaller quantities, I think aluminum!).

There had been a dead man on the line a few years ago!

I also sweated :) Haaaaaa heavy industry is beautiful ... I have only known its last breaths in France ... back in 20 or 30 years?
