nothing to calculate: a good old rheostat to test

then a power supply with decoupage to be able to regulate the tension of exitation without loss of energy

the regulator of origin does not heat its transistor in linear like a rheostat: it does a decoupage too

of course with the simple reostat there is the risk if there is not enough water to consume more for the excitement that the alternator does not produce

Hello Boblamouche

"The marine" will also be damaged, just more slowly, especially at the level of the fixing of the square screws etc. On the other hand, you can cover your "marine" with polyester or epoxy resin with fiberglass. It becomes very strong and water resistant for a long time.
All of this, of course, when the system is in focus (it is not specially given : Mrgreen: ).

Hello,

interesting this project.

what do you think of a generator in this style, with permanent magnets: http://www.otherpower.com/magnetrotors.shtml

rather than a car alternator that starts with + speed to deliver a current!

Nice initiative, but I have serious doubts about the life of OSB in the water ... : Shock:

+ 1 there is none ... but apparmement (unlike mine) it is only a temporary prototype of tests!

I am more skeptical about the bending resistance of the multiplex fins that seem very thin ...although that makes a variable Cx it can be "interesting"!

In any case it is a hybrid wheel because the front is not in OSB!

Prohibited by regulation! ImageToyota was disqualified for that ... : Cheesy:

Ah thin then :)

La Renault Vesta also had a variable Cx ... well no it was rather a SCx since it was lowered from a certain speed.

Moreover, the oil-hydraulic system of Citroën also makes it possible to vary the SCx ...
