Good or bad idea ?
I read a bit about this forum, and it is said somewhere, that even with recovery, it can be 100-1000 times less powerful than a real generator ....
My idea is to make a small wind turbine with a recuperation fan on a heat pump, and to use as much recuperation as possible.
I don't have a post with that at the start.
I also read that a fan has nothing to do with a real wind turbine propeller.
But ... the idea would be to make a small wind turbine, even if it only produces about twenty Watt with a correct wind, not mini.
What do you think?
I have an HS pac, I recover all the cards, because replaced by the same one.
I also read that "only one place where the air passes is better", so I will keep the frame around the fan, even if it means "blocking the ventilation"...

A propeller for making wind is not designed the same as a propeller designed for the wind to cause rotation.phil59 wrote:To this extend ?izentrop wrote:Less gusts of wind >>>> bent blades.

I have the impression that your stamped sheet metal propeller is going to bend instead of turn with the slightest gust of wind.

Re: PAC fan to make a wind turbine?
Alas, it's the propeller that will give me the most trouble ... well, I think, the rest, I think I can handle it.
In fact, it would be the first link, to make a slightly larger one that would drive a car alternator.
Yes, I know, it's not the best way, especially if I don't want to rewind it....
I think to myself, if the small wind turbine can supply 20W, I think it could supply the 2A of the car alternator, and at that moment, a small motor controlled by a relay would drive the larger propeller, from as long as the small propeller produces, for example, for more than 2 minutes ...
I'm waiting for a small anemometer to take some measurements... my land of 2000m2 is about 2m higher than the ground of the house.
In total, the land is almost 3000m2 ..
So it will be to see, if, 20-100W often is more profitable than 1000W not often...
At 100W, it would be cool, below, not great.
Don't panic, it's a distant project.
I tell myself that I could perhaps do, by recovering a stepper motor, and an arduino, in wifi, to follow minute by minute, over a few months, the speed of the wind ... and calibrate it with l anemometer...
I'm not looking for something super specific, as long as it stays within a 10% tolerance, it should give a good idea.
I haven't yet looked to see if there had already been a setup to record the wind speed... inexpensively!

Ah ah ah, I have had a Héliciel license since 2017
Who wants simulations?

Hello In fact you want to recycle and create energy with it?

Plans to make a propeller ok, but it seems a bit complicated to me to make all the blades and correctly and identical....
The rest, as I said, should be simpler.
Maybe a solution to buy the blades on ali or others...

It's very simple, in the best case it's reversible...
How much does the motor consume and what wind speed does it produce?
Want to know the production?
It is theoretically the same as the consumption at the same wind speed...and less in reality because a propeller is not a fan propeller is not optimized to capture energy...so you can remove a good 50%...
I have a heat pump at home... the speed is, at a glance, 25 to 30 km/h... I'm too lazy to measure!

Try in the vibrator mode, that's the new technology using the wind, with only advantages and few disadvantages and it takes up less space.
