If there is an improvement in combustion, this only concerns the start-up phase; for "normal" combustion, this obviously does not change anything ...
I have already tried this technique and it is not bad ... You just need a little more newspaper above, but the advantage is that it starts the draft of the chimney flue. I still have the impression that for those who use a correct stove and a chimney that draws properly, the interest is limited.
