Wind turbine and rotation with generator magnets?

by bwidart » 30/07/11, 15:00

hello, I would like to know if the direction of rotation is important for a permanent magnet wind turbine, I have a small 400w 12v wind turbine that turns counterclockwise, and as the blades were not too good balanced I am buying others but it turns clockwise, will my wind turbine produce current?
Thank you very much

If it is a three-phase permanent magnet alternator, the direction of rotation has no effect on production.
