Hello,
I am currently dimensioning a wind turbine (as part of my studies) for a fairly substantial installation. I end up with 375kWh in daily energy need.
From there how do I size my wind turbine? I know how to size around its surface but for that I need the power that must recover the wind turbine (I think).
So I would have to know on average the number of hours of wind per day to divide my 375kWh to have the power that should recover the wind turbine?
Thank you in advance !

How many projects do you have at a time?

375kWh daily is quite huge ... if your wind turbine turns only 1/5 of the time at its nominal power (which is roughly the case over a year for most wind projects) you will need a power of 375 * 5/24 = 80 kW.

In 12m it is max. 10-15 kW ... and again for 15kW am not sure ...
Is it the highest mast or blade tip that should not exceed 12m?

In theory if ... but in practice generally 1 large product better than X small ones with the same cumulative power installed on the same place because the average wind speed of the large one is greater (altitude), than the ground effect is greater reduced and there is less chance of "masks" ....
The only case where it could be the same is a coast where there is no mask and the winds are always ideal (i.e. close to the nominal speed) ...
