Hello,
We have a cave under the house, it is located in the middle of the mountain (we heat 10 months a year, with a large wood stove).
Is there a way to use this cave for another heating mode?
We already have a gas central heating system (propane bottles ...), which we do not use.
Cave and heating
For me there are 2 possibilities.
Either place a heat pump there, but you must see the
volume of the cave, or use it to pre-heat
the air supplying the wood stove and / or the house.
As of a Canadian / provincial well. But
before you have to check if there is no radion emission
in the cave.
Maybe there is a way to rent the cave to store it
wine or cheese. This income will pay for heating without
make fresh.

Excuse me it's radon and not radion.

In terms of the volume of the cave you are better placed
than me to assess it.
